Hello my name is Claire, my family and I have been holidaying in Whitby and Pickering since I was a little girl, which without giving too much away, is some 50 years now. We have owned this Eskape Cottage for some 12 years and want to share our love and knowledge of Whitby and the surrounding area with you. 'Eskape Cottage' WHITBY, is a Grade two-listed building, and a former Master Mariners house. It is our second home, we have refurbished it and tried to retain the old charm of the cottage. There is central heating and instant hot water and the usual modern equipment. It will accommodate up to six people or two families (i.e. 4 adults & 2 children). Marina views, it is only 5 minutes walk to centre, beaches, pubs, restaurants, etc. It is the ideal base for you to make a fantastic holiday. There is even a treasure chest full of buckets & spades etc., to use on the beach. 'Eskape House' PICKERING, is a comfortable, 3 bedroom terraced house, set in the market town of Pickering. It is our second holiday home, we have totally refurbished it and tried to reintroduce an old charm to the cottage, including beamed ceilings. There is central heating and instant hot water and the usual modern equipment. It will accommodate up to six people or two families (i.e. 4 adults & 2 children). Private parking for 1 car. This cottage is also within walking distance of the Steam Railway and the town centre.
